Explore Your Arsenal
Every adventurer needs the right tools. Here's how Dork Date helps you find your perfect party match.
Dork Cards
Your Dork Card is your identity in the realm. Instead of a generic bio, you build a deck of interests โ each one ranked by your enthusiasm level, from Casual all the way up to Legendary.
Love anime but live and breathe Souls games? Set your anime enthusiasm to a 3 and your Souls rating to a 5. Your card tells other adventurers exactly what you're about โ no guesswork, no awkward first conversations trying to figure out if they're a real fan or just watched one episode.
Add personal notes to any interest on your card. Maybe you main a specific character, or you're currently binging a particular series. These details spark real conversations and help you stand out from the crowd.
Dork Dens
Dens are guilds built around shared passions. When you rate an interest at enthusiasm level 4 or higher, you automatically join that Den โ a community of people who are just as obsessed as you are.
The Gaming Den, the Anime & Manga Den, the D&D Den, the Cosplay Den โ each one is a focused space where you can discover adventurers who share your top-tier interests. Browse the Den feed to find matches specifically within that community.
Dens aren't just filters โ they're gathering halls. Think of them as your home base for finding people who don't just โkinda likeโ the same things you do, but who genuinely geek out over them.
Smart Matching
Forget swiping based on looks alone. Our matching algorithm scores compatibility by comparing your Dork Cards โ shared interests weighted by how passionate you both are about them.
If you both rated Souls games at a 5, that connection is weighted far higher than a shared interest you both rated at a 2. The result is a compatibility percentage that actually means something โ the higher the score, the more you'll have to talk about on day one.
Every profile in your discovery feed shows this score front and center, so you can focus your energy on the connections most likely to lead somewhere real. No more wondering if you actually have anything in common.
